2014 February Twilight
3hr Twilight Event - 13th February 2014, Mt Stromlo Forest Park, Canberra
The twilight rogaine at Stromlo was another great event for ACTRA. The weather was perfect with some kind cloud cover providing some relief from the recent heat. Stromlo was its usual buzz of activity with mountain bikes, criterion racing and 150 rogaining participants. Thanks to Rachel and Wayne Gregson for setting a great course with the perfect length with one team clearing it in just over 2 and 3/4 hours. There were lots of smiles at the end which couldn't only be based on the great catering effort! It was a big volunteer effort with the catering; a big thank you goes to Jenny Arnold, Sal Ozgul and Camilla Brent as well as Wayne and Rachel for all the help on the day. Congratulations to all the category winners and to Damiano Luzzi and Andrew Barnett our overall winners with 1680 points.
