2013 Twilight 3hr Event
Inaugural Twilight 3hr Event - 30 November 2013, Mulligan's Flat, Canberra
The Twilight event on Saturday 30 November was a great success with nearly 200 people enjoying perfect weather on a lovely course. Setters Seb Dunne and Aaron Coles put forward a good course including being able to use Mulligans Flat despite not being allowed off the trail so we didn't spook the newly released bandicoots. Many thanks to the other helpers Dane Roberts and Kath Bell who vetted and hung, David Baldwin and Julie Quinn for admin and catering, Jean for the wonderful cakes and all the other volunteers who helped do a quick pack-up in the dark.
Overall winners, Rob Walter, Jim Oystein-Nybraate and Matt Crane cleaned the course in 2:23. We possibly had a record number of family teams with 22 teams entered with the team of Alison Inglis, Tristan Miller and Patrick Miller taking out the family category.
