2012 Night / Day Event
'Terramungulagaine' 2012 Night/Day Rogaine, Terramungla - 28-29 September 2012
100 people braved the wind of Lake George to join us for the night/day rogaine on 29-30 September. The Terramungla area was a perfect spot for a rogaine, with lovely open Australian bush and plenty of ups and downs as well as the novelty of the sun sparkling on the water off Lake George. There were spotting of deer, echidnas and, at last count by one team, 11 different bird species.
Thanks go to event coordinator Claire Edwards; setters Sean O'Brien and Steve Hanley; vetters Mike & Marg Harrap; and the on-the-day helpers Sarah, Silke, Greg, Bodie and Zoe. A special thanks to the private landholders that made the event possible and all the people who arrived early and helped erect the marquee in the serious Lake George wind- without this help, we'd still be trying to get it up!
