2011 Night-Day-Cyclegaine
Kowen Forest Night-Day-Bikegaine - 24th & 25th September 2011
Night event (5-10pm) on Saturday 24th September / Day event (10am-2pm) on Sunday 25th September using the same map - foot and cycle competitors
Kowen Forest was alive with rogainers last weekend with the night, day and bike rogaines. Some competitors took advantage of being able to rogaine on both days by competing in both events! The events were good fun with most teams only returning just before the finish. It did have the organisers peering into the forest on Saturday evening 30 minutes before the finish wondering if they would see any teams returning.
Congratulations to Seb Dunne, Danielle Winslow and Aaron Coles for winning the night event, to Jonathan Miller, Cameron Logue, and David Jenkins for winning the day event, and Ria Johansen and Walter Johansen for winning the bike event.
