2011 Multisport Rogaine
Googong Multisport Rogaine - 3 April 2011
A beautiful warm day with light winds greeted the participants. There was a diverse range of options for people with a strenuous lap of the dam for keen mountain bikers, lake options for those who like paddling and options to head north and south for walkers. Judging from the happy faces around the BBQ at the end everyone had a fun day.
To quote a couple of people:
Steve (winning bike team): “Perfect day, fun area and great course and control locations. Still no idea how the heck we won when I messed up a few times, started late and phaffed around lots.”
Anna: “The day was great, the countryside was lovely to walk through, the views were captivating, and controls were plentiful for foot competitors.”
