2010 ACT Championships
"The Nungar Plain-Gaine" - 2010 ACT Championships, 23-24 October 2010
The ACT champs returned to the beautiful high country of the northern Snowy Mountains NW of Adaminaby and NE of where this year's Australian Championships were held.
Despite the occasional Saturday afternoon shower and misty night, competitors enjoyed the perfect rogaining country, with not much undergrowth, and vegetation that varied from magnificent tall gum forest to occasional wetter fern gullies to extensive open alpine plains. After a wet winter, the vegetation was vibrant, and there was abundant wildlife, particularly wombats, throughout the course for competitors to see.
